*feeling lyrical*
The waterline ain't going awayWell.

First time in the history of this house (i.e., 50 years) that it's flooded. At all. And last Saturday it became neck-deep in the first floor.
Well.

My parents and one younger brother and I were out that day, and we got stranded in SM Megamall because it was just too flooded everywhere else. My 3 younger siblings, a cousin, and a housemaid were being flooded at home. We went to an aunt's house to stay the night. And I played with their little doggy over there.
Oh well.

But I must say, this is NOTHING compared to everything else that's happened to everyone else. I'm not complaining, just want to say some stuff out here.
This is what we found when we got home:
- The refrigerator was halfway up the stairs
- The dining table was in the living room
- The upright piano was blocking the front door
- And it wasn't so upright anymore (and neither was it playable)
- The sofa was resting on a picture frame
- My brother's bed was squashing his alarm clock and shoe
- Water. Everywhere
And this is what we're doing now:
- We've got soggy old family photos drying on newspapers on every surface possible
- All our first-floor stuff is out on the veranda
- And on the stairs
- Trying to dry our piano books, which actually are wet and torn and dissolved beyond redemption
- And I'm here typing away at my computer on the second floor
HAHAHAH!!! Natuwa ako dun sa mga cosplay pics niyo.
